The place offered great value for the money, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive.

Wi-Fi was great and the service was fantastic! The location of the property was good and stunning, in itself teetering on a ridge overlooking the river.

Large and functional units with a beautiful view of the danube. Wonderful location in a beautiful area just next door to the gardens and chairs, the hillside and the centre of the beautiful town of Durnstein. Variety of food options not too far away from the venue.

The room here is super clean, the bed is amazingly comfy, and the pillows are like sleeping on clouds! 🛏️

The room vere large and clean, whith a wonderfull countryside view. The resteurant provides good value for money and in my opinion excellent quality. The staff speaks english fairly well. The breakfast buffet is somewhat limited, but with good intgredients.

No wireless network in the room, so a non-roaming iPhone user will have to move down to the receiption and get a password every morning to read the news.

It has both knowledgeable and affable staff. The room is reasonably priced.

Location: the hotel was close to the centre of Durnstein. Stopped by Baeckerei Schmidl to get some coffee and treats, it's a couple of blocks away from the venue, recommend. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and overall the room was functional & brand-new. Had separate bathroom with all essentials;))

The location was perfect, just a few steps away from the charming old town, with a lovely pedestrian area right nearby, and the beds and pillows in my deluxe double room were super comfy.

Beautiful old monestary with plentiful antiques. Nice large court yard.

One young lady staff member seemed somewhat arrogant. We did not enjoy dealing with her.

The venue was romantic and spectacular. I thoroughly enjoyed the location adjacent to Durnstein overlooking the Danube, a medieval garden, and an old monastery. the position of the hotel was wonderful and stunning, on the Danube river. Hotel Richard Lowenherz in Duernstein offers a truly charming and picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. the romantic ambiance, combined with the stunning views of the Danube River and historical landmarks, make it a perfect choice for a memorable stay.

Location is great, the decorations are very nice adding to the atmosphere. Associated restaurant is very good. Room was spacey with a nice view on Danube. Breakf. buffet was excellent, bathroom was good.

Think price/room comfort ratio is a bit out of proportion. For a 200Euro night room, that does not hold a mini bar and no coffee facilities. Also think price was steep considering the hotel was practically empty as well. This means you pay for the location, which is ok, just not when it is empty.

The room here was large, nicely decorated, and the bathroom was immaculately clean with a shower, a hairdryer, and cozy dressing gowns provided.

We loved the view of the river and the countryside.
